SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – May 9, 2002 – Commission Junction (www.cj.com), the largest pay-for-performance advertising network, today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Cholawsky as vice president of marketing and product development. Cholawsky's role is to define the strategic direction of Commission Junction's product offering and insure that the company's product development maintains a strong market focus and business purpose, while continuing to build on the brand leadership and market presence that has been a hallmark of the company's success.

Cholawsky joins Commission Junction with two decades of leadership experience in all facets of developing and marketing software and network products for start-up enterprises and large corporations. Cholawsky was most recently vice president of marketing at Clarent Corporation, where she leveraged the company's traditional network-focused voice-over IP product line into revenue-generating services for local exchange carriers. She also served as vice president at !hey, inc., an innovative multi-media call center, streamlining that company's product development processes and building its professional services arm. Throughout her career Cholawsky has focused on the introduction of innovative technologies into the marketplace, including the commercialization of speech recognition for PCs and telephony, and the application of expert systems with mainstream databases.
