Forty Percent of Top-50 Web Properties Are Commission Junction Clients
Commission Junction Ranks First Among Affiliate Marketing Providers
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – March 1, 2001 – According to the latest PC Data Online report, 40 percent of the Top-50 rated Web properties are Commission Junction (www.cj.com) clients. Commission Junction, the leading affiliate marketing solution provider, manages affiliate relationships between online merchants and affiliate content sites.
Among the 20 Commission Junction clients on the list are Excite Network at No. 5, and eBay, the No. 6-ranked Web property. Excite properties attracted 36.2 million unique users in January2001, while eBay had 28.7 million. Rounding out the Commission Junction clients ranked in the Top 20 are InfoSpace, NBCi, LookSmart, Ask Jeeves, iWon and eUniverse.

An additional report from PC Data Online shows Commission Junction clients comprise one quarter of the Top-100 Web sites receiving the most traffic in January with 6.16 million unique users. Five of the Top-20 sites are Commission Junction clients.
Commission Junction led all affiliate marketing providers and ranked seventh among marketing Web sites on the Top 100 list in January. Overall, Commission Junction was the 87th most trafficked site in January.
